Any return to the Area of Operation (AOO) during this break period will be considered to be a continuation of the previous deployment

The award was made to non-commissioned officers and men for an act or acts of valour

Canadian Gulf War Medal Those who served for one day or more in the theatre of operations during actual hostilities (16 January 1991 to 03 March 1991) are entitled to the bar.
