A well preserved Heer Panzer Troops overseas cap for Officer ranks, constructed of black wool. The cap is fully surrounded by fold down side walls which are scalloped toward the front. Both the crown and frontal section of the walls are trimmed with silver aluminum wire piping. The crown is also flanked by ventilation holes which have had their grommets removed and subsequently been closed with hand
