It states that Oberwachtmeister (Artillery equivalent of Oberfeldwebel = Senior Sergeant) Lampe of the 1st Company of Light Flak Battalion 783 (v) was awarded the Iron Cross 1st Class on May 2, 1945. The document is signed in blue ink by a Major General, possibly Klaus Uebe (19001968), Commanding General and Commander of the Luftwaffe Command East
