with only minor signs of wear and with the paint on the core very well preserved

Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Tunic Breast Eagle Auction Samoa on March 16th(Heer Brustadler). Constructed of a dark green wool backer, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey threaded Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with the feathering outlined in silver aluminum wire piping, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 43 mm (h), some mothing evident, otherwise in better than very fine condition.
