Germany, Luftwaffe. A Fallschirmjäger Badge By F.w. Assmann & Söhne Newly Listed Entered the service from Texas(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, with two visible rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, 43. 84
