An example of tropical Wehrmacht (Heer) service trousers as worn by enlisted personnel in the entire Mediterranean theater of war, including Africa and Southern Italy. They are constructed of tan coloured cotton twill, with one diagonal slit pocket in the front, one per side, secured shut via a small bakelite button. With an additional small horizontal slit pocket in the front to the side of the right pocket, secured shut
