Repeated decoration at bottom of the handle

Mixed media on paper 1950s

Used by fishermen during the first half of the 20th century as illustrated in Edward Wadworths’s paintings during the 1920s & 1930s

but there are a few small knicks on the wood frame (mainly on the top rim) and slight discoloration in a few areas of the linen cloth background (see photos for examples)
